Mycelium shape : thick, airy, downy, not very extensive, septate.
Mycelium color : dark green.
Conidia : Free-living, brown, multicellular, ellipsoidal Size: 27 - 57 (up to 75) x 9 - 27 µm.
Typical symptoms induced by Alternaria radicina on carrot :
For seeds : lack of emergence or damping off.
Seedlings : premature yellowing and leaf drop, spots on roots.
